ABOUT Erin McTaggart

About

Erin is originally from New York and has been practicing law almost twenty years. After graduating from law school in Washington, DC, Erin worked at a large law firm handling complex dissolutions and trust and estates matters.  Throughout her career, Erin has served as an attorney, mediator and parent coordinator and she has experience working in the academic and nonprofit worlds.

Erin has a passion for legal issues affecting children, and she works for long-term, sustainable outcomes for families facing legal issues such as divorce, custody and parenting time.  She also works to help her clients with their planning needs to empower and protect their families in the future.  Erin actively volunteers her services through various nonprofit organizations throughout the metro area including St. Andrew Legal Clinic and Clear Transitions.

Erin is a mother to two girls and a golden retriever puppy and in addition to her family, she enjoys mountain biking, skiing, music and yoga.
